Benedict XVI angers Jewish groups for declaring “Venerable” Pius XII who did nothing during Holocaust… like John Paul II did nothing for clergy abuse

Benedict XVI has stirred anger among Jewish groups for declaring “Venerable” Pius XII who did not help Jews during Holocaust…just like John Paul II did nothing to stop his JP2 Pedophile Priests Army in the USA, Ireland, and worldwide. See the John Paul II Millstone "...Only in the Catholic Church are criminals glorified">http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2009/12/john-paul-ii-pedophile-priests-army.html

December 19, 2009 will be a special historical day for cold-blooded Benedict XVI, the former Hitler Youth member, because he elevated two controversial popes as “Venerable”, Pius XII and John Paul II, two popes who did nothing to speak out and stop the most heinous crimes against Jews and children. As Ireland erupts with discoveries of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army http://jp2army.blogspot.com/, all Benedict XVI could say was, “I’ll write you a letter soon”.

Benedict XVI is sitting pretty in white at his ivory tower of the Vatican Palace deciding who should be named Saint, Blessed, Venerable, Cardinal, Bishop, Papal Nuncio, who is tall and handsome enough to be a Swiss Guard member, reading and rereading books of Jesuits-to-“silence” like Jon Sobrino, Jacques Dupuis, Roger Haight, and writing papal letter, encyclicals and papal bulls that will determining the salvation (or not) of 1.2 Billion Catholics. Everyday, he has the GAY movie director Zeffirelli orchestrating his papal make-up and wardrobe. Everyday he acts like a professional actor presiding meetings ONLY with royalties, heads of states, wealthy investors of the trillion$$$ Vatican Bank. No wonder Benedict XVI is out-of-touch with reality of average men and women, and most of all the victims of John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army http://jp2army.blogspot.com/ that is now expanding from the USA into Ireland...but these are just tip of the iceberg...Wait till South America reveals her hundreds of thousands of victims….

Pope Benedict signs decrees for the Causes of Saints

Pope Benedict XVI on Saturday morning signed a decree recognizing the heroic virtues of Pope John Paul II (died 5 years ago), an important and necessary step on the path of beatification. Pope Pius XII (died 1958, 50 years ago) was also recognized for his heroic virtues. The Pope acknowledged the martyrdom of the Polish priest Jerzy Popieluszko, who was killed in 1984 because of his religious and social work with the Solidarity trade union. Mary Ward, who lived in England in the seventeenth century (400 years ago) was recognized for her heroic virtue, and a miracle was recognized due to the intercession of Blessed Mary McKillop, (15 January 1842 – 8 August 1909, 100 years ago) the Australian woman who worked in education and with immigrants. This decree clears the way to her canonization.

Rome – Pope Benedict XVI Declares Pius XII ‘venerable,’ Angering Jewish Groups

Vos Iz Neais | December 20,2009

Rome – Jewish leaders expressed disgust Saturday when Pope Benedict XVI pushed a controversial predecessor one step closer to sainthood. The pontiff declared Pius XII “venerable” even though he’s been criticized for not doing enough to help Jews during the Holocaust. Jewish groups had asked for the move – one step before beatification – to be postponed until they're allowed to review Vatican archives on Pius' World War II actions.

"Venerable" Pius XII

Elan Steinberg, vice president of the American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants, called Benedict's decision "profoundly insensitive and thoughtless."

"We are left bereft in our feelings," he said from his Manhattan office Saturday.

The Vatican maintains Pius worked quietly to help the Jews during World War II.

Jewish groups say no documents supporting that have been released and they need to know more about what he did and didn't do.

"Why the rush to open up the wound again before the opening of the archives?" asked Abe Foxman, U.S. national director of the Anti-Defamation League, from Jerusalem.

Also elevated on the road to sainthood Saturday was Pope John Paul II, widely popular among both Christians and Jews during his time as pontiff from 1978 to 2005.
